We understand you might have some questions…We have answers!

Here are some commonly asked questions about our club:

What does your Rotary club actually do?
The heart of Rotary is our members, dedicated people who share a passion for community service and friendship. Rotary members share ideas, make plans, hear from the community, and catch up with friends during club programs that fuel the impact we make. We are often called a community service club or a business networking club. If you want to make a difference in your local or international community, then consider visiting one of our club meetings.
I’m part of a business, school, or a non-profit organization looking to do a service project locally. How can I partner with Rotary?
Collaboration and partnerships are a key element of our club. You can find out more information on our partnerships page.
How much does it cost to join Rotary?
The most common misconception people have is that Rotary is too expensive for them to join. While every Rotary Club has its own membership dues and pricing structure, we are pretty confident that our club has affordable pricing. What you get back from your membership dues is a huge return when it comes to friendship — both locally and internationally — and the power of making a lasting difference.
Do I have to attend every club meeting to join?
We recommend that our members attend our weekly meetings, but we also understand that some of our members cannot make every week’s meeting. There are digital options to do makeup meetings, as well as opportunities to get more engaged in evening committee meetings or weekend service projects instead. If you have a question about attendance, we encourage you to talk to us about it before you join.
Can I try out Rotary membership before joining? If I join, can I cancel easily if it’s not the right fit for me?
We welcome guests to visit our club meeting. Lunch for your first club meeting is on us. After that, you’ll be asked to pay a nominal fee for lunch. We encourage you to talk with our fellow members to find out if our club is the right fit for you. You are also welcome to join us for a service project or social if it fits in your schedule. If after joining you find out that our club isn’t the right fit, transferring your membership to another Rotary club or canceling your membership is easy and does not come with additional fees.
